Demo Mode Shufti

Shufti provides a DEMO mode for users to familiarize themselves with the verification flow. This
feature is only available for the test environment. However, a similar option is available in the
Production Environment as “KYC/AML”.

Follow the given instructions for accessing and going through the verification journey:

  1. Log-in to Shufti back-office using back-office credentials (Email and Password)
  2. Click on the “Product Demos” tab

Upon clicking on the “Demo” tab, the user is shown a dialog box with different services for
selection. More services can be added to this list but are only displayed in case of subscription of
those services.

The “Quick KYC” option consists of Face and Document verification.

The “Detailed KYC” allows the user to select a number of options from the available KYC services.

These services include:

  1. Face Verification
  2. Document Verification
  3. Consent Verification
  4. Address Verification
  5. 2 FA Authentication
  6. AML/Background checks
  7. Risk Assessment
  8. Questionnaire

A combination of any/all of these services can be used. After selecting the desired services the user is
directed to a screen to specify the parameters of the verification request in an interactive manner.

This screen allows the user to specify general details of the verification. Upon selecting the desired
services and clicking on “Next”, the user is taken to another screen to specify details of each
individual service.

Click on “Next

After specifying these details and proceeding, the user is taken to a screen with reference ID and 3

verification options:

  1. Verification URL
  2. Open in iFrame
  3. Send verifications link in email

The “Verification URL” option takes the end-user to the Shufti verification process in a new tab.

The “Open in iFrame” option opens an iFrame within the Shufti back-office interface.

The “Send verification link in email” option sends an email to the end-user in case the email address is provided.

Click on “Open in iFrame”, “verification URL”, or “Send verification link in email”, to proceed with the selected step.

Note: The “Send verification link in email” option is available only if the email address is provided. Furthermore, the verification details can be accessed through the “Verifications” tab in the back-office.

Questionnaire

Shufti Questionnaire service allows you to create the questions and collect the documents as well from your end-users as per your requirements. Please follow the steps mentioned below to create the new questionnaires:

  1. Log-in to Shufti back-office using back-office credentials (Email and Password)
  2. Click on the “product demos” tab.
  3. Select “Questionnaire” from the services page

You can create a new questionnaire adding your desired questions by clicking on the “create new” button on the right hand side corner.
There are a few pre-build questionnaires as well in the back office that are provided by Shufti to its clients. The user can simply duplicate them to use as well as edit them to add the desired questions.

Duplicate Account Detection

Shufti has a duplicate account detection service that allows clients to identify people verifying themselves multiple times.
This comparison takes place based on the face image that is captured. The captured face image is then compared to all the images provided previously with this configuration enabled. To use this service, please follow the steps below.

  1. Log-in to Shufti back-office using back-office credentials (Email and Password)
  2. Click on the “product demos” tab.
  3. Select “Start Demo” against Duplicate Account Detection

This will trigger the relevant service and provide results of any duplicate verifications detected. This feature is applicable to the face service and the face matching is done only against records in which this was enabled.

Risk Assessment:

Shufti’s Risk Assessment service empowers businesses to identify and manage potential risks associated with their customers or users. This is achieved through customizable questionnaires and the use of fraud prevention data points, which enable businesses to effectively assess the level of risk associated with each customer or user.

  1. Log-in to Shufti back-office using back-office credentials (Email and Password)
  2. Click on the “product demos” tab.
  3. Select “Risk Assessment” from the product page
  4. Select “Start Demo” against Risk Assessment.

This will open up the Risk Assessment service where you can select already present questionnaires or create your own and assign the weightage according to your own requirements.

For creating your own Risk assessment click on create new and set up all the weightages and fraud prevention points accordingly after this you will be directed to the verification journey where you can make your own customized verification flow.

Click on start demo to start the risk assessment service where you will be required to provide your Email, then on the next page you will choose the type of risk assessment you want to use and proceed with it to start the verification process.

AML Checks:

ShuftiPro has an AML check service which allows you to determine the Individuals and Businesses involved in money laundering.

  1. Log-in to Shufti back-office using back-office credentials (Email and Password)
  2. Click on the “product demos” tab.
  3. Select “AML Checks” from the product page.
  4. Select “Individual” or “Business” against AML Checks.

To perform an AML screening on an individual, select the “Individual” option and fill in the required information. Once completed, click on “Process AML” to initiate the AML check process.

To perform an AML screening on an existing business, select the “Business” option and fill in the required information. Once completed, click on “Process AML” to initiate the AML check process. 

OCR for Business:

ShuftiPro OCR for Business services makes it easy for businesses to extract data from different sources by training models according to their own requirements.

  1. Log-in to Shufti back-office using back-office credentials (Email and Password)
  2. Click on the “product demos” tab.
  3. Select “OCR for Business” from the product page
  4. Select “Start Demo” against OCR for Business.

You will be given two options here: Training and Extraction.

To train the model, you will need to upload the document you wish to use and select the relevant sections for annotation. To do this, left-click on the uploaded document and choose the section you want to annotate.

When using the Extraction feature, you’ll need to upload the document and choose the desired Model to extract data from it. Simply upload the document and select the appropriate model to perform the data extraction.

To view details on the Trained Models, simply click on the “Trained Models” button located in the upper-right corner. This will provide you with access to a comprehensive overview of the trained models and their associated information.

Facial Biometric Auth:

Shufti’s Facial Biometric Authentication simplifies sign-up and sign-in with Biometric Face Verification, providing users with a quick, secure, and hassle-free login experience.

  1. Log-in to Shufti back-office using back-office credentials (Email and Password)
  2. Click on the “product demos” tab.
  3. Select “Facial Biometric Auth” from the product page
  4. Select “Start Demo” against Facial Biometric Auth.

Enter the email address you want to enable the Enroll/Signup or Authentication / Login service for, then select the Verification service for Authentication from
