      How does face verification detect deepfakes?

Shufti uses RGB colour-space analysis combined with DCT frequency-domain decomposition to identify synthetic artefacts in the captured image. This detects AI-generated faces, digitally manipulated photos, and injected data streams that bypass the camera.
