With the launch of a new regional office and the incorporation of Ukraine’s tech pool, Shufti will be better able to cater to the IDV needs of the European market. Commenting on the launch of the new office, the CEO of Shufti, Victor Fredung, stated:

“We are excited to extend our services to Ukrainian businesses by opening our new office in Kyiv, Maidan Plaza. As the demand for verifying digital identities continues to grow, our services can be availed by leading enterprises that aim to eliminate fraud and maintain compliance in a single go.”

Starting from a single office in the UK with a team of 10-15 individuals, the offices of Shufti are now spread across five countries, namely the UK, Sweden, Cyprus, Dubai, and now Ukraine. With a global team of over 100 professionals, Shufti now aims to bridge the gap in the IDV market in Ukraine.

By availing the services of Shufti, Ukrainian companies can effortlessly stay compliant with global AML and KYC standards, prevent the threat of prevalent financial and identity frauds, and verify customer identities with an accuracy rate of 98.67% – that too in less than 30-60 seconds.

This step is well-aligned with the company’s mission, as the CTO and Co-founder of Shufti, Shahid Hanif stated:

Shufti’s customer base in Ukraine is not confined to a single targeted industry. In fact, the company offers customized IDV services to top-tier clientele falling in numerous industry sectors. These industries include but are not limited to finance and banking, healthcare, travel, gaming, cryptocurrency, FinTech, education, telecommunication, and social media.

For team Shufti, the opening of the Ukraine office is another feather in the cap. Combined with numerous awards it received in 2020, the company is undoubtedly getting closer to achieving its goal of global expansion.
