New Shufti Fast ID solution expands Shufti into Authentication and Portable Identity

Solution is designed to provide easy and seamless user experience

London, UK – November 21, 2024 – Shufti, a global, award-winning, identity verification provider, announced the release of its innovative Shufti Fast ID identity verification, authentication and portable identity solution. The solution empowers consumers who have enrolled on a customer site via Shufti’s KYC-compliant Identity Verification to easily save their credentials with Shufti Fast ID. This allows for seamless facial biometric authentication in future sessions. 

This Shufti launch provides a smooth, secure identity user experience across identity verification at onboarding, session authentications and step-up authentications. Shufti Fast ID also extends KYC and AML-compliant verifications into authentication, while addressing online accessibility challenges where passwords and OTP are prohibitive.

In addition, Shufti Fast ID’s portable identity verification allows organizations to reuse a consumer’s previously verified documents that the consumer voluntarily saved within the Shufti platform. Now partner ecosystems and e-wallets can verify a consumer identity on one partner site – and authenticate on all participating partner sites. This streamlined approach, which requires only a new face scan to locate and verify a document, reduces consumer friction and abandonment rates. 

This seamless experience increases transaction volumes and improves overall consumer experience.
