    the number of bitcoin atms

The total number of Bitcoin ATMs across the world have crossed 8,000.

According to CoinATMRadar, right now there are approximately 8,208 ATMs in 73 countries enabling users to exchange Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins for cash. More than 6,000 of them are in the US.

Depending on the ATM, crypto holders have the option to buy and withdraw Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ether (ETH), Dash (DASH), Litecoin (LTC), Zcash (ZEC), Monero (XMR), Dogecoin (DOGE), Tether (USDT) and XRP.

The total number of Bitcoin ATMs (BTMs) has increased by 17% since March when there were about 7,000. This depicts a growing public demand for digital currency.

Nevertheless, a large portion of the growth was in the United States. CoinATMRadar’s data portrays that the number of BTMs in Switzerland, Austria, and the U.K. reduced in 2020, while Spain was stagnant with 71.
